I dream of a day when humankind lives in right and balanced relationship with creation and with each other... when we collectively awaken to fully engage together in the work of renewal, restoration and justice for human communities and the web of life.

Denise is an environmental engineering graduate of Stanford University, holds a Master's Degree in Humanities from Holy Names University and has led a variety of energy efficiency technology businesses. Recently, she was elected to public office on a platform of stewardship of the land, water and resources inspired by Thomas Berry’s writings and the Earth Charter. She is an organic farmer and is currently serving her first term as a county supervisor for California’s rural Lake County.
