hi denise, Danielleeee here. I check your site every day looking for a possible update, and although I knew this was coming I was still no less in shock. I too do not know what to say, except that I do not want ms. shields in pain anymore. As usual, I am praying for the both you, please call if you need anything.

Renee did not want to burden the kids with any more goodbyes, and is not wanting any of us to make a fuss, especially at the high school--she wants to slip away unnoticed.

You and your loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. Although I did not know Renee for an very long time she had a profound impact on my life. She was a devoted teacher and will be truely missed. May God hold you in the palm of his had and keep you close.
